About Phootage: It’s a simple, trite, non-suspense run-of-the-mill story but still, here goes…..

Sometime in August 2006, four IIMBians – a Bihari rocker, a head-banging fraud Gult, a Kannadiga back from Australia, and an amateur Punjabi percussionist sat down at the campus mess after a somewhat mediocre first jam session. No one knew each other well, but the tea was hot and the Maggi was good, so they sat down anyway. Some random discussions later, the obvious question arose “What do we call ourselves?” And that’s how Phootage was born.

A little over a year later, Phootage has come a long way. The beats sound crisper, the guitars are in synch, the enthu is at an all time high.

Having said that…. some things never change. The tea’s still hot, the maggi’s still good, and there’s still the one-off complaint that we make too much noise. Simply put, Brand Phootage is music@IIM Bangalore. It is for all who play music, love music, eat music and sleep music. Phootage is very much rocking, alive, and kickin’ serious-B’lore-a**… so better be ready for it!!
